While your donations are not yet tax-deductible, this initial support will help me transition to full-time ministry.
*** Thank you for supporting the work of justice in the Roman Catholic Church.
Send a message to Rome by supporting this ministry.
I pledge to be a prominent embodiment of the truth that women are #CalledAndCapable as Roman Catholic priests.
I pledge to be a dogged advocate of justice in the Roman Catholic Church, and I will work to create pressure on the magisterium to make change.
I pledge to write forward-thinking theology that pushes the Church to discern, especially on issues of inclusion.
I pledge to shine the light on the vibrant life that is happening on the margins of the Church, and I will raise and direct resources to the reform movement.
STEP ONE: Raise a seed investment Because I am not a man, I receive no support from the institutional Church. A sustainable ministry as a full-time Roman Catholic priest is only possible with your prayers and financial support.
The first step is to raise a seed investment of $50,000. With these funds, I will establish sustainable ministries that create a stream of income, begin to establish an in-person community, and design a campaign for Church reform.
STEP TWO: Establish ministries Over the year I will:
Establish sustainable ministries in weddings, funerals, spiritual direction, retreat design and facilitation, liturgical design, and events.
Grow an online community with preaching, teaching, retreats and liturgies.
Create a campaign for ordination reform.
Write theology and produce resources for prayer and reflection.
Work with small business advisors to find a path to long-term financial sustainability.
STEP THREE: Found a parish I will establish an inclusive Roman Catholic community in the Jesuit tradition. We will start by gathering for weekly Mass and then move into establishing Spirit-driven ministries that arise out of the desire and prayer of the people gathered. This community will embody the best of Catholic tradition as an empowered laity that is steeped in Catholic Social Teaching, on-fire with Ignatian spirituality, and boldly collaborates with God in living out the call to justice and mercy.
